Beer release: Latona IIPA!

My first service industry job was a cook position at the Hopvine Pub, which also happened to be where I first started appreciating craft beer. As employees, we had access to a rotating cast of taps, and it was always great to get off work and toss back a couple of local brews. My old boss, Bob Brenlin, also happens to own the Latona Pub, and we’re thrilled to be teaming up with him to produce Latona IIPA. We went with an experimental hop bill, using Azacca, whose mango fruitiness we once put in a single hop, as well as Pekko and Otto Supreme hops. The result is an Imperial IPA that starts off with a strong minty note and rounds out with tropical citrus before finishing dry and pleasantly bitter. It’ll be on tap when we open at 4pm today, and it looks like this:
