Double Beer Release: Altbier and Kölsch!

We certainly nailed the timing on these beers, because they couldn’t be more seasonal. With Seattle temps cresting the 70s for most of the next week, and well into the 80s on Monday and Tuesday, we’re dropping two of our most thirst quenching beers on you. Our silver medal winning Kölsch (5.1%) is a classic example of the style, using Saaz hops, a pilsner malt base, and enough wheat to give it a subtle roundness. Altbier (5.3%), which is similar to Kölsch, utilizes a much more complex grain bill of Munich and biscuit malts. It is just as refreshing, but brings a nutty toastiness to the palate. Both are on tap now, and the patio is open at 2pm.
