Experimental IPA no.1

Just a quick note to tell you all a little more about the latest beer. I had a thought a while back that the dry, clean stylings of a Kolsch might make a great backdrop for an IPA, and this beer was born. Using all new hop varietals, we bittered it with experimental 7270 hops, a monster that brings 17.8% alpha acids to the table. For flavor and aroma, we used New Zealand’s Kohatu hops, which are a little dank with floral and very fruity notes, and German Huell Melon hops, known for stone fruit and a prominent melon aroma. If you like your IPAs clean, fruity and light bodied, you’re gonna love this one. It’s replacing the West Coast for a bit. We also brought the award-winning Wheated Red on for a bit in place of the IRA for the time being, to try and keep the over hopped beers to a reasonable level.

Come watch the USA duke it out with Portugal in the World Cup today! Doors will be open at 2 and the game will be on.
